Introduction of the Covid-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System)

Hi Dancers,
As you may be aware New Zealand has moved to the Covid Protection Framework / traffic light system as of the 3rd December 2021 with the following traffic light settings announced:
• Northland, Auckland, Taupo and Rotorua Lakes Districts, Kawerau, Whakatane, Opotiki Districts, Gisborne District, Wairoa District, Rangitikei, Whanganui and Ruapehu Districts will move in at Red.
• The rest of the North Island will move in at Orange.
• The whole of the South Island will move in at Orange.
Under the new Covid Protection Framework, Ceroc classes will resume when regions move in at Orange with My Vaccine Pass entry requirement for dancers. (Please note that only dancers with a My Vaccine Pass or a Temporary Covid-19 Vaccine Medical Exemption Certificate will gain entry into classes.)

Therefore Ceroc Waikato, Tauranga, Taranaki, Palmerston North & Kapiti-Hutt may reopen classes from Friday 3rd December onwards. Before going to the classes in your region, please check that they are available.

For your safety:
• All branch crews will be vaccinated.
• Each branch will display their NZ Covid Tracer app QR codes so please ensure you scan in.
• Record keeping will be undertaken (All those attending class must scan the QR tracer codes, or an alternative record keeping method will be in use.)
• My Vaccine Pass must be sighted for ALL before entry.
• NZ Pass Verifier app. will be in use so please assist when asked to scan your My Vaccine Pass QR code.
• Face coverings are encouraged indoors but not mandatory.
Please remember if you display any of the following Covid-19 symptoms, please do not attend class and contact your doctor or get a Covid test:
• a new or worsening cough
• sneezing and runny nose
• a fever
• temporary loss of smell or altered sense of taste
• sore throat
• shortness of breath

Thank you all for your patience and support, it shouldn’t be too much longer before all of NZ is in Orange or Green of the Covid Protection Framework.
Happy dancing!
