- Ceroc is one of the easiest fun partner dances you will ever learn. If you can walk you can Ceroc!. Essentially it is a two beat dance, that is we step on every beat which means simplified footwork. Ceroc can be danced to a wide range of music from 80’s through to current chart hits. Music styles include, R&B, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Soul, Motown, any thing with a steady beat. You can dance it in pubs, clubs, at weddings, parties, just about anywhere.
- Casual rate for attending one class night is $15 which gives you entry to all classes for that night, subject to your skill & dance level.
- Various concession cards are on offer, for Newcomers there is a 5 Beginner Class Concession Card for $45. So class will cost $9.
- No partner is required.
- But you are welcome to come with a partner or friend.
- The class is rotational so you get to dance with everyone during the class.
- Rotating allows dancers to learn and progress more as they get to dance with more experience dancers.
- Rotating dancers counters having to have even numbers as extra dancers wait a turn before being moved on.
- Our dress code is “smart casual”, jeans and a tee-shirt is fine.
- Wear comfortable shoes that have a hard sole and won’t slip underfoot so you can step and pivot. Avoid spiked heels.
- Ensure you smell nice and have fresh breath.
- We start with a gentle warm up.
- Then we partner you up and place you in lines or a circle.
- We teach you one move at a time.
- Music is played and you are taught to dance the move to music.
- You will learn 4 moves in a Beginner class.
- You can start any time, no bookings required, just turn up.
- The Beginner Classes have a different routine every week.
- You will be dancing with like minded people in class who are very supportive of new dancers to Ceroc.
- Your teacher will keep an eye out for you and will do their best to help you during class.

- Consistently we get anywhere between 30 to 60 dancers depending on the night and time of year.
- Not only do you learn to dance but it is a social night out to catch up with old friends and an opportunity to make new ones. The music is great too so you get to social dance, have fun and exercise with out knowing.
