What is Ceroc®?
Welcome to the home of social, fun Ceroc® Dance partner dancing classes & lessons at the Tamahere Community Centre serving Hamilton & Cambridge & Te Awamutu areas of the mighty Waikato.
Ceroc® Dance is a brand of modern jive dance. A smooth, fun dance with uncomplicated footwork that can be danced to a large range of music; Chart topping music, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop just about anything. It is a partner dance that we you can dance at parties, nightclubs, weddings, pubs, balls, pretty much anywhere!
At Ceroc® Dance it is easy to learn and classes are great fun. We welcome first-time dancers with "two left feet" as the Beginner dance class & lessons are specifically designed to get you dancing by the end of the class. Ceroc® is a popular form of dance which makes it a great way to meet people and socialise. We teach dance connection between leaders & followers to facilitate true social free style dancing.
Class nights rang from 30 to 60 people and we have a wide range of ages from 16 upwards, all joining in and having a fun time together. (Disclaimer, Ceroc® Dance Modern Jive can become an addiction, so be warned).
No need to book, as we hold regular weekly Tuesday classes, so just turn up. No need to bring a partner although it is more fun going with family and friends, as dancers are rotated during the lessons so everyone gets to dance.
